Hello Journey Children’s Church Family!
Each Sunday in Children’s Church we are reminded of the great commandments Jesus gave to us, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37. It seems most appropriate that we take advantage of this beautiful summer weather and show love to God, to each other and ourselves at an awesome pool party and your children are invited!
We are so pumped for all of the new changes that are coming up this year with The Journey’s amazing Children’s Church program and to celebrate, we’re going to kick off the summer right with a big Children’s Church Summer Bash at Kenny & Christine’s house!
Please be prepared to get soaked–IT’S A POOL PARTY! We only ask that you fill out this quick survey so we know how much food to prepare and of course BYOT (bring your own towel). We look forward to seeing you there! This is a family event so parents, please no drop offs. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend”. You’ll be blessed too by joining us, and a blessing to others as well.
